Projects Developed Using HOME Funding

Single Family New Construction: Funding was provided in 2000 and 2001 to a for profit developer, David Rorge, as interim financing for the construction of affordable housing to offset the cost of construction loan interest. Funding was converted upon construction completion to assistance for low and moderate income households purchasing the new homes. A total of 16 households received deferred downpayment assistance between $5,000 and $10,000 with repayment due upon sale or transfer of title. This was a CHDO funded project.
